Thursday, March 2, 2000 Santa Clara Valley Chapter March 1960 - March 2000 The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) will be celebrating its 40th anniversary year on Thursday evening, March 2, 2000. This is our regular meeting night (first Thursday of the month), but the celebration will be held at a different location and the evening will be special and memorable. A four-course dinner will be served at Emiles Restaurant in San Jose. This is one of the areas premier "4-Star" restaurants and features award winning European cuisine. To make the evening more special we will be having a "Wine Makers Dinner" featuring several of the wines from the award winning Lolonis Winery located in Redwood Valley, Mendocino County. Their Chardonnay wine was selected for the official Presidential Inaugural Dinner in 1993 and several of their wines have also been served at White House dinners. During the evenings various dinner courses, a representative from the winery will educate us on viticulture and the wine making process and tell us why certain wines were selected with the various courses being served. In addition, we have located several of the original charter members still living in the area who will be invited to attend. The program after dinner will recognize several of these charter members, and reflect on our 40 years in the Santa Clara Valley. When: THURSDAY, March 2, 2000.
