LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE... CELLULAR CONCRETE... INSULATING CONCRETE.... WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES?
The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) would like to extend an invitation for you to join them on the first Thursday of September. Mark your calendars for September 7, 2000, and come for a TableTop display, dinner, raffle, and an interesting and informative presentation about lightweight insulating concrete systems. These types of concrete systems are used for roofing assemblies, and have over 50 years of proven performance. Our speaker will explain the differences in lightweight insulating concrete systems available today and how they have provided an economical solution to designing positive slope to roof substrates. Learn how composite insulating concrete can eliminate underside insulation and possibly fireproofing, provide FM approvals, and can save re-roofing costs. Our speaker; Mr. Louis Hunt has an extensive background in the roofing industry, which started in 1972. He has been a lightweight insulating concrete contractor, then he joined Siplast in 1986, and in 1996 he became the Western Region Product Manager for Roof Insulation Systems (SRIS). Mr. Hunt has given many presentations in the Western States and Canada to educate professionals of the construction industry.
