Thursday, July 11, 2002 The Ramada Inn Silicon Valley The Santa Clara Valley Chapter of The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) would like to extend an invitation for you to join them for a fun and interesting program giving a bird’s eye perspective of the Silicon Valley taken aerial photographers. Mark your calendars for July 11, 2002. The booming economy of the 90s has brought about huge changes to the landscape of the valley with high tech business campuses, new and expanding recreation areas, shopping centers and much more. Award winning aerial photographers Julie and Pat Belanger, have captured the biggest changes through the lenses of their cameras. Fly along with them on a virtual aerial tour of Silicon Valley as they share many of their favorite images of aerial architectural photography, aerial construction progress photography and finished project glamour shots. Chosen to photograph for some of the biggest names in Northern California, you are sure to see views you recognize and perhaps construction projects you have been a part of...all from a new perspective. Speakers: Patrick and Julie Belanger are owners of the 111th Aerial Photography Squadron. The Belangers specialize in high and low altitude architectural photography and aerial "glamour" landscapes using both the newest in digital photo-graphic technology and standard medium format film cameras. They are both pilots. Mr. Belanger is a pilot for USAirways and retired from the Air National Guard as an F-16 pilot. Mrs. Belanger has been flying since she was 16, came from a flying background (her family owned the Flying Lady Restaurant in Morgan Hill) and is President of the Professional Aerial Photographers Association (PAPA) International. You can see samples of their work at www.the111th.com .
