 August Program: Networking Picnic

Join us for a fun filled evening of networking with the members of USGBC Northern California Chapter - Silicon
Valley Branch, AIA Santa Clara Valley, and AIA San Mateo County. Meet or renew your acquaintances and
friendships with fellow professionals. Las Palmas Park in Sunnyvale will provide the backdrop for a picnic dinner.
Barbecues are also available for use during the gathering if members would like to bring their own supplies for grilling.

Two-seminar series;  April 30th and May 14th

Santa Clara Valley Chapter of Construction Specifications Institute is pleased to offer a two-seminar series;
“Introduction to Specification Writing” and “Project Delivery Methods: Effects on Specifications”, April 30th and May 14th.  Come learn about specifying quality, enforcing design intent, and coordination of specs and plans.  The advanced session, Project Delivery Methods, will focus on crafting specifications and the coordination of different types of construction contracts with specifications. Join us for either or both seminars, the instructor is John Guill, AIA, CSI, CCS, CCCA, SCIP. John is a regular presenter of continuing education programs on construction related topics and has received a number of awards and recognitions from AIA, CSI and the Coalition for Adequate School Housing, (CASH).
